六家2018年度世界知識(shí)產(chǎn)權(quán)組織—新加坡知識(shí)產(chǎn)權(quán)局知識(shí)產(chǎn)權(quán)獎(jiǎng)得獎(jiǎng)企業(yè)


新加坡,2018年9月4日 — 新加坡知識(shí)產(chǎn)權(quán)局(IPOS)近日宣布多項(xiàng)與創(chuàng)新利益相關(guān)者合作的新項(xiàng)目,以鞏固新加坡的知識(shí)產(chǎn)權(quán)和創(chuàng)新樞紐地位。新加坡知識(shí)產(chǎn)權(quán)局將與保險(xiǎn)業(yè)巨擘Lloyd’s Asia和新加坡國(guó)立大學(xué)持續(xù)與終身教育學(xué)院(NUS SCALE)合作,以新方式與新技能協(xié)助企業(yè)增長(zhǎng)無(wú)形資產(chǎn),實(shí)施知識(shí)產(chǎn)權(quán)的商業(yè)化。泰國(guó)最大工業(yè)集團(tuán)Siam Cement Group(SCG)通過(guò)SCG Chemicals Co., Ltd.與新加坡知識(shí)產(chǎn)權(quán)局簽署協(xié)議,使用新加坡知識(shí)產(chǎn)權(quán)局促進(jìn)業(yè)務(wù)增長(zhǎng)的服務(wù)配套。新加坡知識(shí)產(chǎn)權(quán)周是亞洲最具有聲望的知識(shí)產(chǎn)權(quán)會(huì)議之一,這三項(xiàng)諒解備忘錄將于2018年度新加坡知識(shí)產(chǎn)權(quán)周活動(dòng)里簽署。

去年設(shè)立的馬卡拉創(chuàng)新基金(Makara Innovation Fund)讓新加坡知識(shí)產(chǎn)權(quán)局為創(chuàng)新型企業(yè)提供資本以擴(kuò)大規(guī)模。然而,知識(shí)產(chǎn)權(quán)和無(wú)形資產(chǎn)驅(qū)動(dòng)的增長(zhǎng)呈現(xiàn)了新類(lèi)型的風(fēng)險(xiǎn),需要以不同的方式管理。新加坡知識(shí)產(chǎn)權(quán)局與領(lǐng)跑專(zhuān)業(yè)保險(xiǎn)和再保險(xiǎn)市場(chǎng)的Lloyd’s Asia合作,著手解決創(chuàng)新型企業(yè)對(duì)知識(shí)產(chǎn)權(quán)保險(xiǎn)的需求。憑借Lloyd’s Asia的全球網(wǎng)絡(luò)和專(zhuān)業(yè)保險(xiǎn)知識(shí),本區(qū)域的企業(yè)可期待新的知識(shí)產(chǎn)權(quán)保險(xiǎn),來(lái)加強(qiáng)它們開(kāi)拓國(guó)際市場(chǎng)的信心。


Lloyd’s Asia和新加坡知識(shí)產(chǎn)權(quán)局簽署諒解備忘錄,合作推出知識(shí)產(chǎn)權(quán)保險(xiǎn),讓企業(yè)在利用知識(shí)產(chǎn)權(quán)驅(qū)動(dòng)業(yè)務(wù)的同時(shí),可招商引資、避免業(yè)務(wù)中斷和加強(qiáng)談判實(shí)力。雙方也將在兩年內(nèi)聯(lián)合舉辦一系列研討會(huì),吸引100家企業(yè)參與,推廣知識(shí)產(chǎn)權(quán)商業(yè)化、知識(shí)產(chǎn)權(quán)保護(hù)和知識(shí)產(chǎn)權(quán)保險(xiǎn)(知識(shí)產(chǎn)權(quán)保險(xiǎn)可涵蓋知識(shí)產(chǎn)權(quán)糾紛中的法律費(fèi)用,包括侵權(quán)和違反知識(shí)產(chǎn)權(quán)許可使用權(quán))承保專(zhuān)門(mén)知識(shí),使新加坡成為這方面的卓越中心。知識(shí)產(chǎn)權(quán)保險(xiǎn)可作為商業(yè)戰(zhàn)略工具,讓企業(yè)在將無(wú)形資產(chǎn)和知識(shí)產(chǎn)權(quán)商業(yè)化和開(kāi)拓國(guó)際市場(chǎng)的同時(shí),增強(qiáng)管理和減輕風(fēng)險(xiǎn)的能力。

協(xié)助國(guó)人建立相關(guān)知識(shí)產(chǎn)權(quán)和創(chuàng)新的技能


隨著新加坡成為一個(gè)以創(chuàng)新驅(qū)動(dòng)的經(jīng)濟(jì)體,知識(shí)產(chǎn)權(quán)和創(chuàng)新技能培訓(xùn)的需求將會(huì)增加。直屬新加坡知識(shí)產(chǎn)權(quán)局的培訓(xùn)和教育機(jī)構(gòu)新加坡知識(shí)產(chǎn)權(quán)學(xué)院(IP Academy)將推出無(wú)形資產(chǎn)管理專(zhuān)業(yè)培訓(xùn)課程,為國(guó)人創(chuàng)造高增值就業(yè)機(jī)會(huì),協(xié)助企業(yè)學(xué)習(xí)將創(chuàng)新點(diǎn)子轉(zhuǎn)化為資產(chǎn)。這項(xiàng)為期八個(gè)月的在職培訓(xùn)課程將在2019年1月開(kāi)課,吸引知識(shí)產(chǎn)權(quán)行業(yè)在職人士以及有意掌握無(wú)形資產(chǎn)管理技能的業(yè)外人士。新課程將強(qiáng)調(diào)實(shí)際商業(yè)應(yīng)用,著重于如何整合企業(yè)業(yè)務(wù)和知識(shí)產(chǎn)權(quán)市場(chǎng)化策略,幫助企業(yè)把創(chuàng)新點(diǎn)子市場(chǎng)化。


新加坡知識(shí)產(chǎn)權(quán)學(xué)院也將與新加坡國(guó)立大學(xué)持續(xù)與終身教育學(xué)院(NUS SCALE)合作,為專(zhuān)業(yè)人士策劃并提供高管課程培訓(xùn),由雙方經(jīng)驗(yàn)豐富的教員授課,同時(shí)也會(huì)聯(lián)合設(shè)立新的知識(shí)產(chǎn)權(quán)和創(chuàng)新技能專(zhuān)業(yè)認(rèn)證體系。以上項(xiàng)目將加強(qiáng)學(xué)員的知識(shí)產(chǎn)權(quán)知識(shí)和技能,培養(yǎng)知識(shí)產(chǎn)權(quán)專(zhuān)人,鞏固新加坡的知識(shí)產(chǎn)權(quán)樞紐地位。

亞洲的創(chuàng)新活動(dòng)與日俱增,知識(shí)產(chǎn)權(quán)注冊(cè)占有全球總數(shù)的六成。中國(guó)是這增長(zhǎng)的主要推動(dòng)國(guó),有全球最大的專(zhuān)利申請(qǐng)數(shù)量,在2017年高達(dá)130萬(wàn),超越同年美國(guó)、歐盟、日本和韓國(guó)的專(zhuān)利申請(qǐng)總數(shù)。

Winners of WIPO-IPOS IP Awards 2018


IPOS Awards


1)IPOS Award for IP Champions – Most Transformative


This award is given to the company who is recognised for a disrupting business model or industry.


Winner: K-One Industries Pte Ltd (江壹工業(yè)私人有限公司)

With a vision to provide sustainable and environmentally-friendly solutions to global industries, K-One has been innovating and transforming its business model since 1997. To date, it has patented more than 12 innovative inventions, products, processes or technology, among which have benefitted the environment or businesses by sparing millions of trees from being cut down, or reducing storage, production and transport costs for companies. From its very first innovation the eco-slim condom packaging in 2000 and eco-flat contact lens packaging in 2005 to its revolutionary eco-mobile dishwasher in 2014, K-One has transformed tremendously over time, disrupting industries along with it. While it was unable to leverage on its first innovation because its IP was unprotected, K-One has since strengthened its IP position and strategies. Its eco-mobile dishwasher which features state-of-the-art technology that cuts water and electricity usage by 50% while washing twice the number of dishes is already gaining traction worldwide.


2)IPOS Award for IP Champions – Most Innovative


This award recognises companies for creating new products or services not seen before.  


Winner: Creative Technology Ltd (創(chuàng)新科技有限公司)

A worldwide leader in digital entertainment products, Creative has been exploring new frontiers since the creation of its Sound Blaster in 1989 which has sold over 400 million units. Since then, Creative has amassed technologies and know-how in the audio space, owning more than 1000 patents including 748 utility and 276 design patents and over 1400 registered trademarks. For its latest innovation, the Super Xi-Fi chip, Creative has poured in over 20 years of engineering R&D effort to break new ground. Super X-Fi is a headphone holography technology that brings the human listening experience with headphones to a whole new level of realism. First, it creates an advanced head and ear mapping and then uses an artificial intelligence engine to merge it with the acoustics of a 3D space to create a personalised synthesized SXFI? acoustic map.


3)IPOS Award for IP Champions – Best Commercialisation Strategy


This award recognises the company who has best utilised their IP to drive profit or growth.  


Winner: Structo (速科特私人有限公司)

A relative newcomer to the market, Structo is a Singapore-based dental 3D printing solutions provider founded by a group of NUS Engineering graduates in 2014. Structo designs, develops and builds 3D printers, resins and software tailored for dental applications, all made in Singapore. Working closely with industry leaders and pioneers to address specific dental needs, Structo’s printers, materials and software have already been deployed in some of the world’s largest dental laboratories. Having realised the limitations of existing 3D printers which were slow and covered only small areas, Structo invented the MSLA technology to achieve record-breaking printing speeds at lower costs without compromising quality. It also invented the Velox ecosystem which decentralizes, streamlines and automates the entire 3D printing process. It currently holds several patents and registered trade marks, in addition to designs, trade secrets and copyright.

    Blue Capital Pte. Ltd.: Recognised for its game-changing marine and offshore infrastructural technologies that are never before seen in the industry.  


    Lucence Diagnostics Pte. Ltd.: Recognised for its advanced invention in fast and non-invasive cancer blood tests with just a single draw of blood.


    Osteopore International: Recognised for its first-of-its-kind bioresorbable implants that facilitate natural tissue growth after surgery.


4)IPOS Young Achievers Award


This special mention recognises young enterprising innovators.


Winner: Qanemate Pte Ltd (鳩杖)

Qanemate’s invention is a portable, interactive and smart mobility device for seniors using QR codes and NFC chips, which is attached to a cane or umbrella and thereafter clipped onto furniture. First invented when its young Founders saw an old lady fall to the ground and injure herself while trying to pick up her fallen cane, Qanemate envisions to be a social enterprise to empower elders with safer and smarter mobility and make Singapore a fall-proof nation. Qanemate’s business model is to offer these inventive devices on its CSR platform where corporates can sponsor and work closely with non-profits to assemble and add an artistic touch to them. It owns one patent and four trade marks, with international applications in process. So far, more than 500 prototypes have been given out for needy elders at healthcare institutions mainly through physiotherapists.


WIPO Awards


5)WIPO IP Enterprise Trophy


The WIPO IP Enterprise Trophy is awarded to the most outstanding recipient of the IPOS Award for IP Champions. The objective is to recognise an organisation that has made imaginative use of IP in their business activities.


Winner: Creative Technology Ltd (創(chuàng)新科技有限公司)

Creative Technology is the most outstanding recipient among the three IPOS Award IP Champions. Its Super X-Fi innovation has not only emerged as the most innovative but is also impactful and disruptive to the consumer audio market. Creative Technology’s Super X-Fi promises to turn any headphone into a surround sound setup at the price point of USD $150. This innovation has helped Creative shoot up to the top of the Singapore Exchange’s gainers list on Monday 5 March 2018 and boosted the value of its stock to the highest it has been in a decade.


6)WIPO Users’ Trophy


The WIPO Users’ Trophy is awarded to a particular user of WIPO’s IP services. These services include the Patent Cooperation Treaty System (for patents), the Madrid System (for trade marks), the Hague System (for registered designs) and the Lisbon System (for appellations of origin), together with the services of the WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center. The Trophy recognises the early adoption or innovative use of these services. The WIPO Users’ Trophy is awarded at the discretion of WIPO.
